Ghoomar Mahotsav 2025, a symbol of the folk traditions of Rajasthan, which has made its own identity in the whole world, started in Jaipur today on Wednesday. On this occasion, Rajasthan’s Deputy CM and Tourism-Arts Minister Diya Kumari inaugurated it by playing a grand drum. The festival started with the most ancient style presentation of Ghoomar, the song ‘Ek Baar Ho Piya Jaipur Shehar Padhar Jo…’. During this period, about 15 hundred women performed Ghoomar in Jaipur.
6 thousand women did Ghoomar
Let us tell you that during Ghoomar Mahotsav 2025, 6 thousand one hundred women danced Ghoomar across Rajasthan. This amazing sight was worth seeing. Recorded in Asia Book of Records. This certificate of records was given to Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. During the dance, all the women were seen dressed in colorful Rajputi attire. Everyone in traditional costumes brought alive the culture and art on Rajasthani folk songs.
