Of these, more than 700 candidates have been selected on various administrative posts. Filling up of all the reserved posts of Scheduled Tribe category in the recruitment of 60,244 posts in the Police Department in the financial year 2023-24 is a big sign of this change.

To promote women’s safety and respect, the government has created three new PAC battalions in the name of brave women. These also include a battalion named after the brave Dalit heroine Uda Devi of 1857. His statue has also been established in the capital Lucknow, which pays respect to the glorious heritage of the Pasi community. Tharu Handicraft Company connected 371 women self-help groups to the national market, thereby increasing the income and self-reliance of women. 101 Ashram Schools and 9 Sarvodaya Schools are becoming strong centers of social security for the liberated nomadic communities like Nat and Banjara.

New direction for cultural respect and social unity

Yogi government has tried to give national identity to those heroes and heroines who were neglected for a long time. The museums named after Birsa Munda in Mirzapur and Sonbhadra and the Tharu Museum established in Balrampur have become important centers for preserving the tribal culture. The government efforts made in honor of Maharaja Suheldev have given new strength to the pride and self-respect in the OBC community. Steps like school curriculum reform, expansion of scholarships, strengthening women safety framework and giving respect to cultural identity show that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is giving top priority to the welfare of socially and economically weaker sections.
