One of India’s most graceful actresses, Madhuri Dixit, is coming on the small screens with the upcoming JioHotstar series Mrs. Deshpande . The lead actress has unveiled a short teaser featuring a twist that ‘no one saw coming.’

Madhuri Dixit has shared on her official social media handles, a 20-second teaser video of her upcoming OTT project, JioHotstar original web series Mrs. Deshpande where she will be seen playing the intimidating role of a serial killer, ‘A twist you won’t see coming.’
The video begins with Madhuri removing her fine jewellery and makeup, before cutting to a mysterious shot of her in a jail uniform with a smirk, leaving the audience intrigued about the storyline. The upcoming show is a remake of the French series La Mante and is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

Earlier today, a cryptic post on her Instagram handle sparked curiosity. It featured lyrics from her iconic Bollywood songs, ‘Ek Do Teen Chaar Paanch Cheh Saath Aath.’ Another slide had the word ‘Bholi’ struck out, continued with ‘Si surat, ankhon mein masti.’ There were similar other slide and were captioned, ‘Coming soon.’

At the IIFA Awards earlier this year, Madhuri Dixit spoke about her OTT roles saying, “There’s no conscious effort as such but the role came my way, and I thought it’s something that I would love to do because it explores a different part of me, and I’m looking forward to it.”
