Bengaluru: A huge robbery has taken place in broad daylight in Silicon City Bengaluru. Money was looted by stopping the van of CMS company, due to which an atmosphere of fear has been created in the city. This incident took place on Thursday morning near Ashok Pillar of Jaynagar, in which the robbers escaped with about Rs 7 crore. According to the information, the robbers had targeted the ATM cash refill van of CMS company which was bringing money from HDFC Bank of JP Nagar. The gang of robbers had come in a white colored Innova car, which had a fake number plate. He stopped the CMS vehicle on the way.

The robbers introduced themselves as tax officers of the Central Government and said that they had to check the documents of the vehicle. CMS employees did not suspect them and stopped the vehicle. The robbers took away cash worth Rs 7 crore and took the CMS employees in their Innova car and took them towards Dairy Circle. There he dismissed the employees and fled with the cash. The entire incident happened within a few minutes, which clearly shows that the robbers had executed it with complete planning.
Police intensified investigation
At present, the South Division police have reached the spot and started investigation and have blocked the entire city. CCTV footage, vehicle details and travel routes are being examined. The police have issued an alert in the city and expressed confidence of catching the accused soon.
