PM Modi pays tribute to Satya Sai Baba, will release the 21st installment of PM-Kisan from here

PM Modi attended the centenary celebrations of Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. They will issue commemorative coins and postage stamps. After this, he will inaugurate the Natural Farming Summit in Coimbatore and release the 21st installment of PM-Kisan.

Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited the holy shrine of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh and paid his tributes. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan were also present with him.

Earlier, PM Modi held a road show while visiting Puttaparthi to attend the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. A large number of people were standing in queues on the streets to welcome PM Modi.

The area has been secured by barricades and police deployment to ensure security and protocol during the Prime Minister’s visit. According to an official statement issued by the PMO, PM Modi will participate in the centenary celebrations of Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba. On this occasion, he will release a commemorative coin and a set of postage stamps in honor of the life, teachings and enduring legacy of Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He will also address the gathering during the program.
After this, the Prime Minister will visit Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit at around 1:30 pm, according to the statement.

During the event, the Prime Minister will release the 21st installment of PM-KISAN worth over Rs 18,000 crore to help nine crore farmers across the country. On this occasion, PM will also address the gathering. The South India Natural Farming Summit, to be held from November 19 to 21, is being organized by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholder Forum, the statement said.

The objective of this conference is to promote sustainable, environment-friendly and chemical-free farming methods. At the same time, there is an emphasis on rapid adoption of natural farming as a profitable, climate-friendly and economically sustainable model for India’s agricultural future. This conference will focus on building market linkages for farmer-producer organizations and rural entrepreneurs. Apart from this, new experiments in organic fertilizers, agro-processing, eco-friendly packaging and indigenous technologies will also be shown. More than 50,000 farmers, natural cultivators, scientists, organic fertilizer suppliers, vendors and stakeholders from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will participate in the summit.
