After the death of 26-year-old Ketan Vishal Aggarwal, resident of Gahunje, Pune and director of real estate business, his fiancee Siya Goyal shared a very emotional story on Instagram. But now this social media post has become the biggest weapon of police investigation. The date was June 18, 2026. On the same day when Siya was celebrating her birthday, she killed Ketan Aggarwal, the heir to an empire worth crores, for the sake of her bloody love.
The dream of a luxurious wedding and a ‘bloody web’ woven on the top of the fort
Ketan and Sia’s engagement took place with much fanfare in February this year. Their royal wedding was going to take place in the coming month of November in a grand palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Aggarwal family had spent money like water to make this wedding memorable; Two private jets were booked to transport the guests and preparations worth crores of rupees were in the final stages. There was a celebratory atmosphere in both the families, but something else was brewing in Siya’s mind. On the pretext of celebrating her birthday, Sia called Ketan for trekking to the historical and beautiful Lohagarh Fort of Lonavala. This fort, included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, is buzzing with tourists and trekkers. While roaming in the valleys, suddenly there was a scream and Ketan fell into a deep ditch about 400 feet below.

False drama of accident and ‘third’ character hidden behind tears
Soon after the incident, Siya gave a tearful statement to the Lonavala Rural Police that Ketan’s foot slipped due to strong winds and it was a tragic accident. Police initially registered a case of ‘accidental death’, but during the three hours it took to exhume the body, several inconsistencies were noticed in Sia’s statements. When the police started an in-depth investigation on the instructions of Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill, a third person was entered into the case—22-year-old Chetan Babulal Chaudhary. Police investigation revealed that Siya was in a secret relationship with Chetan, a resident of Kondhwa. Chetan was not at all happy with the relationship between Sia and Ketan and he was considering Ketan as a thorn in his side. To remove this thorn, both of them had together woven the fabric of this bloody conspiracy.

Digital evidence revealed the secret: Murderer Hasina exposed
Police allege that Siya called Ketan to the isolated peak of Lohagarh Fort where there was less security. As part of the conspiracy, Chetan Choudhary was also secretly called there. As soon as Ketan reached the edge of the ditch, both of them pushed him hard from behind. Soon after the murder was declared an accident, Sia posted a video and pictures of her romantic dance with Ketan on Instagram to come clean. He wrote in Hindi – “My heart knows that you are here. Come back.” But according to a report, mobile data analysis and telephone records exposed this digital lie of Sia. When the local crime branch detained Chetan Chaudhary and interrogated him strictly, he revealed the entire conspiracy. On Tuesday, Pune Rural Police registered a case of murder and criminal conspiracy under the Indian Justice Code (BNS) on the complaint of Ketan’s father Vishal Aggarwal and sent both Siya and Chetan behind the bars. The hands which were to be decorated with mehendi in November, have today been put under the handcuffs of law.
The royal wedding remained incomplete
Ketan and Sia’s wedding was to take place in Udaipur in November. Families had started preparations for the grand event. A palace was reportedly booked and special travel arrangements were being made for the guests. But where wedding bells were supposed to ring after a few months, now there is a long process of police investigation, court and questions. This case has once again raised the question whether sometimes even the closest relationships have such secrets hidden behind them, which are difficult to imagine.
