Agahan Amavasya Tarpan 2025: Amavasya date of Margashirsha month is considered a very auspicious and spiritually powerful day in Hindu religion. Abhijeet Muhurat: This period coming around noon (approximately 11:4512:28) is considered very auspicious for any worship or donation.

Pitru Tarpan and Pind Daan
The main objective of Margashirsha Amavasya is to satisfy the ancestors. Perform Pitru Tarpan with sesame seeds, Akshat, water and flowers. If possible, Pind Daan can be done at a holy place, otherwise it can be done ritually at home. Donating a lamp is considered a special factor for ancestral peace.
Vishnulakshmi puja
Joint worship of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi on this day increases wealth, good fortune and happiness in the family. Offer them water, flowers, incense, lamp and naivedya. Chanting Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya or Shri Sukta is considered very auspicious.
