Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously taking concrete steps to take the arts, handicrafts and traditional products of Uttar Pradesh to the national and international markets. After giving a new identity to traditional crafts through the ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) scheme, the state government is now working rapidly towards establishing the specialties of 75 districts across the world through the Pradhan Mantri Ekta Mall.

Traditional industries will get new energy

This initiative of the government is playing a big role in trying to strengthen the weakened traditional industries in rural areas. This is not only stabilizing the livelihood of artisans, but also establishing local products as the “new indigenous power”. This ambitious project of the Central Government—PM Ekta Mall—is fast emerging as a sales centre, display space and branding hub for local products across the country.
