That means the marriage of Lord Ram and Mother Sita took place. At the time when Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita got married, there was a coincidence of Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra.
This is why marriage is not done in Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra
Astrologers say that Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra is auspicious for all other works, but this Nakshatra is not auspicious for marriage. Astrologers believe that Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita were married in Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra. Then after marriage, Lord Ram and Mother Sita had to suffer. Along with this there was also separation. This is the reason why astrologers advise not to marry in this constellation.
