This small but powerful engine produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, which means it accelerates quickly and feels lively on city roads, highways and everyday commutes. Despite being sporty, it still offers good mileage which is around 20 to 20.7 kmpl depending on the variant. You can choose between a 6-speed manual for a traditional driving feel or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) for smooth, quick gear shifts. The DCT version even comes with Eco, Normal, and Sport drive modes, allowing drivers to change the car’s behavior based on their mood.
Dimensions
In terms of size, the i20 N Line remains a practical hatchback as it is 3,995 mm long, has a 311-litre boot and offers enough space for five people. Its ground clearance of 170 mm is suitable for Indian roads which makes it easy to drive over bumps and uneven surfaces.
Safety
Hyundai has also packed the car with good safety features which includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Assist, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and even rear disc brakes, which are rare in this segment.
Interior and Features
From the inside, the i20 N Line stands out with a sporty all-black cabin, red stitching, N-branded seats and steering wheel, and a flat-bottom steering wheel inspired by performance cars. Tech enthusiasts will like the 10.25-inch touchscreen, navigation system, Bose 7-speaker audio, wireless charging and Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car tech.
Design
On the outside, this compact car gets red accents, a chequered flag-style grille, dual chrome exhausts and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which gives it a fun, hot-hatch look that looks classy and appeals especially to young drivers.
