MP Youth Utsav 2025: From learn-earn to sports power, Mohan Yadav government is giving new direction to the youth.

The Chief Minister honored youth, players and artists in the 29th State Level Youth Festival organized in Madhya Pradesh. Emphasis was laid on employment, skill development, learn-earn scheme and sports achievements. The aim of the government is to make the youth self-reliant and empowered.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is among the youngest states of the country. There is new energy and enthusiasm among the young men and women here, which is the biggest strength of the state. He said that the future of developed India is safe in the hands of the youth.

The Chief Minister said that the government celebrated the year 2025 as an important year for investment, employment and skill development. During this period, appointment letters were given to more than 11,000 youth. Rapid recruitment is going on for about 1 lakh posts through Staff Selection Board and Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The government aims to take the recruitment number to 2.5 lakh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural program of the 29th State Level Youth Festival organized at Rabindra Bhawan. He started the two-day youth festival by lighting the lamp and also visited the exhibition of science models made by the youth of divisions across the state. The youth festival will conclude on November 18.

Honoring players and artists

In the programme, the Chief Minister presented an incentive check and certificate of Rs 51,000 to dancer Padmashree Ramlal Bareth, Rs 2 lakh to shooter Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Rs 1 lakh to athlete Ranjana Yadav.

The Chief Minister flagged off three buses carrying 144 girls to visit the Western International Border of India under the ‘Maa Tujhe Pranam’ scheme.

Rapid progress in sports and youth development

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the youth power is making many new records under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. From Olympics to other competitions, players of Madhya Pradesh have performed excellently. He said that Indian daughters created history by winning the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and Madhya Pradesh’s daughter Kranti Gaur played a big role in this victory. The Sports and Youth Welfare Department is working at a fast pace and players of the state are achieving success at the international level in various sports. The state government is committed to the welfare of the youth and all sections of the society.

India’s youth increased the country’s strength in all fields

The Chief Minister said that in the spirit of Prime Minister Modi’s slogan ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’, India is moving towards becoming a developed nation by the year 2047. Due to the contribution of youth, India has today become the fourth most powerful economy in the world and is moving towards the third position. He said that the state government is leaving no stone unturned in providing opportunities for better education, employment and self-reliance to the youth. Under government schemes, loans worth Rs 5,000 crore have been provided to 7 lakh youth for self-employment, so that they can set up their own businesses.

Learn-Earn Scheme and Employment Opportunities

The Chief Minister said that under the ‘Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao’ scheme, more than 20,000 youth have been given a stipend of more than Rs 41 crore. More than 61,000 youth have got employment in the private sector through the job fair. He said that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a “sports power” in the field of sports and the players of the state have brought pride to the country in international competitions.

Madhya Pradesh will become prosperous with youth power

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that youth have initiated change in every era. From Mahatma Gandhi to Bhagat Singh, everyone showed the path of revolution at a young age. He said that sports activities are being promoted in the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Initiatives are underway to keep the youth physically healthy by connecting them with yoga and sports. He appealed to the youth to play an important role in building a developed India @2047 and prosperous Madhya Pradesh and pledge to make India the leader in the world.

Great performances by folk artists

In the inaugural ceremony, artists from Bundelkhand presented folk songs and dances based on Lord Shri Krishna, which enthralled the audience. Young tabla player Samarth Sharma presented a melodious jugalbandi with sitar. More than 300 young players from 10 divisions of the state are participating in the Youth Sports Festival.
