PM Modi targets Congress, hails Bihar mandate in Ramnath Goenka lecture

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday delivered a sharp address at the sixth Ramnath Goenka Lecture. He referenced to the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections in which the NDA registered a sweeping victory and said, “One needs to be always in emotional mode to work for people, not election mode, to win elections.”

He also pointed out to a significant shift in the voting patterns, “Women voted in greater numbers than men,” he said, calling it a “triumph of democracy.”

Modi said the people of Bihar had once again demonstrated “the height of their aspirations” and placed their faith in those who could deliver on development.
