Glimpse of Jhansi and Bundelkhand in Lucknow Jamboree, star of Bharat Scout-Guide will shine

The culture of Jhansi and Bundelkhand, Rai dance, Yoga-Mallakhamb, handicrafts and the bravery story of Rani Laxmibai will be displayed in the 19th National Scout-Guide Jamboree to be held in Lucknow. 45 scout-guides and 12 rover-rangers will be included from Jhansi.

Jhansi. The historical and cultural identity of Jhansi and Bundelkhand will become a special attraction in the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides to be held in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Scouts, guides, team leaders and district level officials of Jhansi are busy preparing for this event. Yogi government is also paying special attention to making the arrangements of the program better and smoother.

A large team of scout-guides and officers from Jhansi will be involved.

A total of 45 Scouts and Guides, 6 Team Leaders, District Organization Commissioner (Scouts) Prabhat Pawar and District Organization Commissioner (Guides) Rashmi Ali from Jhansi district will participate in this Jamboree. Along with this, 12 Rovers and Rangers from Jhansi will participate in the event for service work. This team will represent Jhansi at the national level.

Preparation for presentations like Yoga, Mallakhamb and Rai dance

The participants are practicing Yoga, Mallakhamb, Lejam and other activities as part of the physical performance. A special presentation of Rai, the famous folk dance of Bundelkhand, is being prepared in cultural programs. Apart from this, traditional handicrafts, local food and regional art of Bundelkhand will also be displayed in the Jamboree.

The heroic story of Rani Lakshmi Bai will also become the main attraction.

The bravery story of Rani Laxmibai will also be displayed during the program, so that the participants and spectators can be introduced to the historical bravery of Jhansi. This presentation will highlight the glorious history and legacy of bravery of Jhansi on the national stage.

The participants will come face to face with the art and culture of Jhansi and the cultures of the world.

According to Sunil Dwivedi, Treasurer of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Jhansi, the participants are making complete preparations. Jhansi team will showcase local history, culture, art, food and crafts in the National Jamboree. The young Scout-Guides will also be exposed to different cultures of the country and the world, which will expand their experience and perspective.
