Small businesses got relief, income became stable
The biggest positive impact of this scheme is visible on small businesses. Earlier, power cuts affected units like welding workshops, flour mills, grocery shops, barber shops and mobile repair shops.
Now, due to solar energy, these businesses do not have to face power cuts, which has stabilized their income and increased employment opportunities. Poor and middle class families have also benefited greatly. Due to free electricity, their monthly expenses have reduced by 15–20%. Due to this, many families are now able to focus better on education, health and savings.
