Difference between Hajj or Umrah in Hindi: Performing Hajj is considered a duty on every Muslim, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. Every Muslim must perform Hajj once in his life. What is the difference between Hajj and Umrah? (Interval between Umrah and Hajj)
There are many differences between Umrah and Hajj, the first difference of which is that Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam, which is necessary for every physically and financially capable Muslim. At the same time, Umrah is a small Hajj, which is not a duty. Umrah is a Nafl prayer which can be performed throughout the year. Umrah takes less time and does not include all the rituals of Hajj, such as stopping at Arafat or making sacrifices.

Hajj and Umrah are so different
It is considered obligatory for a Muslim who is healthy and financially capable to perform Hajj. On the other hand, Umrah completely depends on the wishes of the Muslim. There is a fixed time for performing Hajj which is done once a year. But one can go to Mecca any time of the year to perform Umrah. Hajj includes wearing Ihram, making Tawaf of the Kaaba, running between Safa and Marwa, throwing stones at the devil in Mina, making sacrifices, getting hair cut etc. Umrah includes donning Ihram, Tawaf of Kaaba and doing Sa’i.
