Sensex-Nifty Updates: On the first day of the week i.e. Monday 17th November, there was a lot of growth in the stock market. While BSE Sensex closed at 84951 with a jump of 388 points, NSE’s Nifty index also closed at 26013 with a gain of 103 points. During this period, Nifty Bank Index touched the record level of 59000 for the first time. Bank Nifty created a new history today with a gain of 0.8%. Finally, Bank Nifty closed at the level of 58,962.70 with a gain of 445 points.

Investors’ wealth increased by Rs 3.16 lakh crore in one stroke
On Monday, due to the boom in the stock market, investors made huge profits and printed Rs 3 lakh crore in just a few hours of trading. In the last trading session, the total market cap of BSE listed companies was Rs 473.94 lakh crore, which increased to Rs 477.10 lakh crore on November 17. That means the market cap of investors has increased by Rs 3.16 lakh crore.
