Now there will be no need to fill forms for pension, visit offices or wait for an employee. The government has decided that now eligible elderly people will get pension automatically. No need to apply for pension, elderly people get great facility
Uttar Pradesh government has made a major change in the old age pension scheme and announced that now eligible senior citizens will not have to apply separately for pension. After confirmation of eligibility, pension will be released through the system automatically. This will relieve the elderly from the trouble of frequent visits to offices.

Ease and relief returned in the lives of Indrani and Lal Mani
71-year-old Indrani of Fatehpur was suffering from arthritis and was forced to visit offices every month. Pension was a relief for them but the process was tiring. The new order of Yogi government has removed their worries. Similarly, for 76-year-old Lal Mani, a resident of Koraon, Prayagraj, who has no children, reaching the office to collect pension was a big challenge for him. The new process has given them relief and now their pension will continue to be received without any hassle.
Direct benefit of pension to more than 1.63 lakh elderly people in Prayagraj
Old Age Pension Scheme is continuously expanding in Prayagraj district. According to District Social Welfare Officer Ram Shankar Patel, 1,63,968 elderly people have got the benefit of the scheme in the second installment of the current financial year. After screening of beneficiaries deceased since last financial year and addition of new characters, 4100 names were removed from the list. The tranches of April, May and June were released together, covering about 1.63 lakh senior citizens.
The scope of pension is increasing rapidly at divisional and state level also.
The scope of old age pension scheme has also increased rapidly in Prayagraj division. In the first quarter of this financial year, pension has been issued to 5,06,375 elders of the division. The number is even larger statewide. Pensions were issued to 67,50,000 senior citizens across Uttar Pradesh in the first quarter, which shows how widely and effectively the scheme is being implemented.
