If reports are to be believed, Farhan Akhtar’s film 120 Bahadur will be released in theaters across the country. According to Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, this film will be screened in more than 800 defense theaters for the soldiers and their families. This initiative is being taken by Picturetime in collaboration with Genesink Brat Media. Sushil Choudhary, CEO of Picturetime, said it is an initiative aimed at taking cinema to serving personnel, ex-servicemen and their families. Chaudhary said that there are about 15 lakh active soldiers in India and the number of ex-servicemen and their families is estimated to be around 2 crore, but currently only 30% of them have access to defense cinema. Excel Entertainment CEO Vishal Ramchandani said the team wanted to give members of the armed forces an opportunity to watch the film.

The film 120 Bahadur tells the story of the Battle of Rezang La. In this, Farhan Akhtar, Raashi Khanna, Sparsh Walia, Vivaan Bhatena, Dhanveer Singh, Digvijay Pratap, Sahib Verma, Ankit Siwach, Devendra Ahirwar, Ashutosh Shukla, Brijesh Karnawal, Atul Singh, Ajinkya Dev and Ejaz Khan are playing lead roles. The film is directed by Rajneesh Raji Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and Amit Chandra. If media reports are to be believed, the budget of the film is close to Rs 100 crore.
