Ingredients – 1 tbsp oil, 1/2 cup peanuts, 3 tbsp chana dal, 3 green chillies, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp thin tamarind pulp, 1 cup water, 1.5 tbsp oil, 1.5 tsp mustard seeds, 2 tsp urad dal, 1/2 tsp asafoetida, 1-2 dry red chillies and 7-8 curry leaves.

Recipe – To make this, first of all heat oil in a pan and add peanut seeds and fry them. Now add gram dal, finely chopped green chillies and garlic and fry while mixing. Now grind it in a mixer, add salt, water and tamarind water along with peanuts. Now for the tempering, put oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida, dry red chilli and curry leaves to it and prepare the tempering. Pour this over the chutney and mix. Peanut chutney is ready.

Peanut Chikki

People like to eat chikki made from jaggery and peanuts during winter season. To make this, first of all dry roast the peanuts, cool them slightly, peel them and crush them with a rolling pin. Now add water and jaggery in a pan and keep it to melt. You can also add soda in it. Now add crushed peanuts in jaggery. Mix it well. Now apply ghee in a plate and put this paste in the plate. Spread it and set it with a rolling pin and when it cools down a bit, you can cut it into desired shapes.

You can make peanut butter. For this, first of all take out the peanuts in a bowl and clean them. Now keep the pan on the gas. When hot, add peanuts. Keep stirring it continuously. After this, when it slowly starts releasing oil and starts thickening and becomes smooth, then add some salt in it. If it becomes too thick, you can add a little water to it.
