Ram Charan travels the world and eats at some of the greatest restaurants in the world; the locations he visits frequently become iconic for fans, but the actor still feels a strong connection to his heritage, particularly in terms of cuisine. Upasana Kamineni, the wife of Ram Charan, recently disclosed that the celebrity will not compromise on one foot item, regardless of how opulent the venue or the menu may be. Ram Charan, like his father Chiranjeevi, insists on eating at least one Indian meal prepared at home each day. And not just any meal-it must be a lovingly prepared South Indian feast. Upasana, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and an entrepreneur, shared the backstory of her most recent project, Athamma’s Kitchen, in an interview with Curly Tales.
Ram Charan’s wife discloses that what started out as a travel trick to sate her husband’s desire for traditional meals developed into a full-fledged company that now offers fans and foodies alike the Konidela family’s culinary legacy. Ram Charan and Upasana would search distant locations for South Indian food because this hunger may occur at any time, sometimes even at 11.30 PM.
