Delhi-NCR: A massive new city is set to take shape on 9,000 acres of land in the Delhi-NCR region, promising to transform not only the region’s infrastructure but also the fortunes of local farmers. Beginning today, landowners can submit their offers to sell land through the government’s e-Bhoomi portal, marking the start of a major land acquisition drive by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) and the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP).
The new city will span across nine villages in the districts of Faridabad and Palwal. Strategically located along the Greenfield Expressway connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Noida International Airport, this industrial hub is poised to become a key driver of economic development in the region. HSIIDC will lead the industrial development, while HSVP will focus on expanding the residential and commercial sectors.
According to a report by Jagran.com, four and a half thousand acres of land will be acquired from 18 villages in Greater Faridabad alone. This land will be used to develop both residential and commercial sectors under the supervision of HSVP.
What Is The Location Of The New Industrial City?
The proposed city will be developed across nine villages situated along the expressway. These include:
– In Faridabad: Chhainsa and Mohna
– In Palwal: Mohiapur, Bagpur Kalan, Bagpur Khurd, Badraula, Hansapur, Solra, and Thanthri
Together, these areas will contribute approximately 9,000 acres for the project.
