The dashboard design of Tata Motors’ new EV ‘Avinya’ has been revealed through a patent. This premium car with minimalist design will be launched by the end of 2026 and will be based on Jaguar’s EMA platform.
New Delhi: Tata Motors is preparing to increase the line-up of its vehicles and for this the company is patenting new designs. Now Avinya’s name has also been added to this list. Even though the company has kept the exterior design of this car a secret till now, a glimpse of its dashboard has been revealed through a design patent. It is believed that Tata can launch a whole new range of electric vehicles under the name ‘Avinya’.
There are reports that several types of vehicles will be launched under the Avinya sub-brand, the first of which may be a fastback model. The cabin of this car will be equipped with technology and modern features, so that customers can get a luxury experience. We have got a glimpse of its dashboard from the design patent.
If we look at the design, its dashboard is quite simple and clean. It has a large infotainment screen and a newly designed steering wheel with ‘Avinya’ written on it. The upper part of the dashboard is flat and looks like it will be made entirely of soft-touch material.

This setup has two flat steering rods, one of which also acts as a gear selector. A wide and sleek instrument cluster is provided behind the steering wheel. Climate control and other important features are integrated into the dashboard itself, which is simple to look at and probably made of soft-touch material.
When will Avinya reach the showroom?
More details about its cabin and design will be revealed as we get closer to the launch. It can be launched in late 2026 or early 2027 and production will also start around the same time. It is believed that this new electric car will be based on Jaguar’s EMA platform, but Tata will optimize production to keep costs under control.
According to reports, its production volume will remain low, around 24,000 units per year. This is an indication that this will be a special and expensive vehicle, and not a model that is designed to sell more on the basis of price.
