A devotee asked Premanand Ji Maharaj, how is your day?
Maharaj ji tells that he wakes up around 11-11:30 in the night and starts remembering God. Sometimes when there is pain, we lie down for some time, then sit and remember again. He has to lie down once or twice till 1 am. After this they drink water and take toilet and bath. Bathing etc. is completed by around 1:45 pm. Then they recite Yamuna Ashtak and come down a little before 2 o’clock. After this, while traveling on foot, he reaches among the devotees and remains there till around 9 o’clock. After this, they serve Radha Rani and take Prasad and then go for dialysis, which takes about 4 hours. On returning, they take toilet and bath again and perform evening puja and bhajan. They go to sleep at 8 pm, due to which they get only about 3 hours and 50 minutes of rest. Maharaj ji says that the effort is always to keep the memory of God in the mind continuously.

What time to sleep and wake up?
Maharaj Ji explains that according to the classical method, a person should sleep between 9-10 pm and wake up before 6 am. One should wake up before sunrise, take bath and go to work. Along with this, he advises to do regular walk and pranayam. According to him, 6-7 hours of sleep is considered sufficient for a healthy life.
