Was the money received by 14000 crore women of Bihar from the World Bank? Sensational allegation of Jan Suraj

World Bank Fund Misuse Claim: NDA is accused of giving Rs 14,000 crore to 1.25 crore women just before Bihar elections, and this money allegedly came from a World Bank project. Jan Suraj called it a possibility of misuse of funds for electoral gains.

NDA Bihar Election Controversy: After the results of Bihar Assembly elections, a big and shocking allegation has come to light. Jan Suraj Party spokesperson Pawan Verma has claimed that just hours before the implementation of the election code of conduct, Rs 14,000 crore was distributed to 1.25 crore women. He says that this money came from the World Bank for some other project, but it was transferred to the women voters just before the elections.

Pawan Verma’s allegations are creating a new political debate in Bihar after the election results. At the same time, after the bumper victory of NDA, this question has become even bigger whether such a huge amount of money was used to target the women vote bank?

Were World Bank funds actually distributed among women?

Pawan Verma said while talking to ANI that the economic condition of Bihar is already bad. The state already has a public debt of Rs 4,06,000 crore and Rs 63 crore is being spent every day as interest. In such a situation, the sudden distribution of funds on such a large scale has raised many questions. He claimed that the Rs 10,000 given to the women of the state before the elections was not from any general budget, but from the amount of Rs 21,000 crore which came from the World Bank.

Would the remaining amount have been stopped if NDA lost?

Pawan Verma also said that this rumor was already going on in Bihar that if NDA does not come to power again, then the other women will not get this money. According to him, there are four crore women voters in Bihar, but only 1.25 crore got the benefit. The remaining women were apprehensive that they would not get this benefit if the government changed. This fear may have led a large number of women towards NDA.

Was this a ‘legal’ but ‘unethical’ move?

Pawan Verma admitted that his claim could be completely true or false. His statement was – “If it turns out to be wrong then I apologize. But if it is true, then it is a big moral question.” He said that many times governments spend money before elections and give some excuse or explanation later. In such a situation, this type of fund transfer may be considered legal, but it definitely raises questions on the ethics of elections.

Why did Jan Suraj flop in the elections?

Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party, which is being called the ‘X Factor’ in Bihar elections, contested 238 seats, but could not win even a single seat. Political experts believe that due to Prashant Kishore himself not contesting, the party’s influence reduced. At the same time, NDA won 202 seats, in which BJP became the largest party with 89 seats.

Are women voters the biggest reason for NDA’s victory?

Political analysts say that in the last several elections, women voters have been playing a decisive role in Bihar. If the allegations turn out to be true, then it would be clear that NDA adopted the strategy of giving direct financial benefits to garner the votes of women before the elections.

What is the truth – will be known only after investigation

These allegations are very big and can completely shake the politics of Bihar. But whether this is true or just political rhetoric—the answer to this will come only after government clarification and investigation. Meanwhile, this matter remains a big topic of discussion in social media and political circles.
