Mumbai: Rohit Shetty replaced Salman Khan as the host in the latest Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The director reprimanded the contestants and also introduced some fun activities to lighten the mood. He allowed Pranit More to roast him, too.
In the promo video shared on Instagram, More roasted the director. “Rohit sir is so talented; he’s perfect as the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi. He jumps off a moving car, but the biggest danger was spending ₹100 crore on Dilwale.”
“He respects the police so much that he puts them at the centre of all his films. The police respect him so much in return that when there’s a checkpoint, Rohit sir is the one who checks their vehicles, and the police tell him, ‘Let us go, sir,’” said More. He added, “Salman ka, Shah Rukh ka, Ajay ka sabka badla lega re tera Shetty (Your Shetty will avenge everyone, Salman, Shah Rukh, Ajay, all of them).” The director mesmerised the comedian with good comebacks. Shetty also made contestants perform a task where shock bands were tied to their hands. They received a jolt after every question.

Further, Shetty called out some of the contestants and reprimanded them. He criticised Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badesha for calling Bigg Boss unfair and biased. He also reiterated that the reality show was not partial in anyway.
He asked Farrhana Bhatt to control her language and advised Ashnoor Kaur to play solo. The host described Farrhana as Gaurav’s ‘pyaada’ and told her that she should maintain a distance.
Malti Chahar was praised for sticking to her viewpoints. Shetty also lauded Gaurav Khanna for choosing to be the captain in the ration task.
Shetty questioned Kunickaa about the remarks relating to Malti’s sexual orientation.
