Delhi-NCR Rains: The weather in Delhi-NCR has taken a noticeable turn, and residents can expect this trend to continue for about a week. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the capital will see clouds hanging over the skies and intermittent rainfall until August 17. There are chances of light rain on Wednesday, while heavy rain is expected from Thursday. During this time, while the temperature will remain below normal, there will also be humid heat in between.
The forecast suggests that between now and mid-August, Delhi will experience periods of light rain, with occasional showers accompanied by thunder and lightning. This change comes as a welcome relief from the usual sweltering humidity and heat that the city often endures during this time of year.
Temperatures are expected to drop slightly during this spell. On August 13, for instance, the maximum temperature is predicted to hover around 34 degrees C, while the minimum will settle near 24 to 25 degrees C. Humidity levels will range between 55 and 70 percent, giving a mild coolness to the atmosphere.

The sky is expected to remain mostly cloudy on August 14, with moderate rain likely. Independence Day, August 15, should also see favourable weather with dense cloud cover and chances of rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Fortunately, no severe weather warnings have been issued by the IMD, suggesting conditions will remain manageable.
