Hanumangarhi’s security changed overnight… Has the police received any major input?

After the Delhi blast, security has been increased in Ayodhya Hanumangarhi due to inputs received from security agencies. Metal detectors have been installed at the gates and every devotee is being scanned. Police fear that terrorists may target religious places.

The blast in the country’s capital Delhi has shaken not only the police but the entire security system. Meanwhile, security agencies are continuously receiving such inputs, which clearly indicate that terrorist organizations can now target religious establishments. In such an environment, Uttar Pradesh Police has completely upgraded the security of Hanumangarhi temple of Ayodhya. Checking and monitoring has been increased everywhere from the temple gate to the internal roads.

Strict security: Metal detectors at all gates, entry strictly controlled

Now no one can enter Hanumangarhi without scanning. Be it devotees, priests, VIPs or armed security personnel, everyone will get entry only through metal detectors.

  • Metal detectors at general gates
  • Extra security at VIP gates
  • Checking at both entry and exit
  • Digital record of every visitor

According to security agencies, the risk is high because the possibility of a suspect entering the huge crowd in disguise cannot be ruled out.

After Delhi blast, increased vigilance at religious places across the country

Security agencies are on full alert after the blast in Delhi. Inputs coming from various sources are being examined. In these inputs, a warning has also been received that important religious places may be attacked. For this reason-

  • First the security of Ram temple was increased
  • Now Hanumangarhi has also been converted into high-security zone.

Lakhs of devotees reach Ayodhya every day, hence no scope is being left for any lack of security.

Scanning of each devotee, record of digital data

More than one lakh devotees come to Hanumangarhi every day for darshan. Security agencies believe that amidst the crowd, a terrorist may try to enter the temple by posing as an ordinary devotee. Keeping this possibility in mind-

  • Computerized metal detection at every entrance
  • Digital data record of all visitors
  • Increase in deployment of security personnel

This system will ensure continuous and real-time monitoring.

Late night meeting with saints, new system implemented after consent

Before tightening security, top officials of police and administration held a meeting with the saints and mahants of Hanumangarhi. He was informed about the seriousness of the input. The saints also agreed to increase security. Sanjay Das, successor of Mahant Gyan Das Maharaj of Hanumangarhi, said-

There is a situation of high alert in the entire country and the possibility of targeting temples and monasteries in particular has been expressed. Therefore, everyone should cooperate fully in the security arrangements.
