Salasar Balaji is world famous for its unique idol, in which Hanuman ji is seated with beard and moustache. On the other hand, Mehandipur Balaji is known for getting rid of ghosts, black magic, and mental problems. Devotees tie coconuts at Salasar Balaji to fulfill their wishes. At the same time, devotees make a special application at Mehandipur Balaji to get rid of their negative energy. Prasad from Mehndipur Balaji is not brought home nor should it be eaten.
