Fire Safety NOC: The most important permission

If there are more than 25 students in a coaching center, then fire safety NOC is considered very important. This includes fire extinguisher, fire alarm system, emergency exit and safe way out. Center cannot run without trade license

The coaching center has to obtain a trade license from the local body or municipal corporation. This certifies that the building can be used for commercial activity and that local regulations are followed. Actually, running a coaching institute in any residential or commercial area is a commercial activity. For this, it is necessary for you to obtain a trade license from the Municipal Corporation of your city.

Shops & Establishment License is also necessary

Many people just start classes, but as per law, Shop and Establishment License (Gumashta) is also required. This determines the rights of employees, clean bathrooms, drinking water facilities and basic safety standards. This certificate is obtained from the Labor Department. This license shows that your building is safe for commercial use.

Building Completion Certificate: Coaching cannot be run without this

This certificate proves that the building is built as per NBC (National Building Code). If a building does not have adequate ventilation, no safe exits, or structural deficiencies, student safety may be at risk.

Coaching Registration and Safety Standards

According to the 2024 guidelines, coaching centers with more than 50 students have to register. Also, there should be at least 1 square meter of space for every student. Apart from this, it has been said that it is necessary to follow standards like CCTV cameras, first aid kit, facilities for the disabled, counseling and psychological help.
