Bengaluru Power Cut: Parts of Bengaluru Rural district and Harihar taluk will experience scheduled power outages over the next few days, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has said. The shutdowns are planned to carry out maintenance and construction activities on the electricity network.
Bengaluru Rural Power Cut: Timings
In Bengaluru Rural, areas connected to the K-12 and F-14 feeders under the Kudur section will have no electricity between 10 AM and 5 PM on August 13. According to BESCOM, the interruption is needed to lay a new line from Kuduri to Solur for the Gudemaranahalli Power Supply Centre.

The affected villages in this region include Biskur, Kodihalli, Surappanahalli, Kannisandra, Malligunte, Aaladakatte, Arishina Kunte, Kelavohalli, Kallipalya, Madigondanahalli, Venkata Dhruvagalya, Bhairanur, Vajarahalli, Kenchayyana Palya, Anchepalya, Arepalya, Maddur, Hoojegalli, Parasandra, Maniganahalli, Cheelur, Byrapur, Hosa Palya and nearby locations.
Harihar Taluk Power Cut News: Affected Areas
Villages likely to be impacted here include Bhanuvalli, Lakkashettihalli, Kamalapur, Holesirigere, Ramatirtha, Nagenahalli and neighbouring areas. BESCOM has advised residents to make necessary arrangements in advance.
