Employees will get free tickets
According to a report by the Economic Times, the Uno Aqua Care Company of Madurai has announced to give paid holidays to its employees on the day of film release. The company issued a notice on social media that the holiday is being given on August 14 so that the HR department does not have to face the queue of the holiday application. This holiday will be applicable in all branches including Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Mattuthwani and Arapalayam.
Not only this, the company has also announced in this celebration to distribute food to orphanages and old age homes, distribute sweets to the general public and give free tickets to their employees. Apart from this, a Singapore company has also announced a paid holiday to its Tamil employees on the first day of the film.
Record breaking bets in ticket booking
The advance ticket booking of the film has already made big records. According to a report by Caiknilk, the film in India has earned more than Rs 10 crore from advance booking. The first day’s booking abroad has reached more than Rs 37 crore. In this way, the total advance booking has crossed Rs 100 crore. Experts believe that Coolie can be included in the highest -grossing films on the first day in the history of Indian cinema.
Competition to get tickets in fans
A big fan of Rajinikanth said that the ticket prices in Chennai theaters ranged from 600 to 1,000 rupees, while some places reached 4,500 rupees. In many theaters, the first show was either fully booked or tickets were blocked. In such a situation, many fans have no option to buy tickets in Black or look at the government rate till the end of the first show till the end of the show. The first show of the film in Kerala and Karnataka will be at 6 am, while in Tamil Nadu, the audience will have to wait till 9 pm.
