Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav met one-to-one with various companies in MP Tech Growth Conclave 2.0. Madhya Pradesh will become a technology hub with investment and technical cooperation in IT, drone, defence, film, semiconductor and AI sectors.
Bhopal. During ‘MP Tech Growth Conclave 2.0’, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held one-to-one discussions with representatives of many national and international companies. In these meetings, in-depth discussions were held on investment, industrial clusters, technology centers and innovation based projects. This will open new investment opportunities in the state in sectors like IT, drones, aerospace, semiconductor, defence, electric vehicle (EV), film technology and Global Capability Center (GCC).
MoU on cyber security between Indian Army and state government
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met senior officers of the Indian Army. During this, an MoU was signed between the state government and the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering for joint research and development (R&D) in cyber security and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This partnership will strengthen cooperation in the field of defense and civil technology and will make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in technology innovation.
Preparation to establish Global Capability Center (GCC) Hub
Dr. Yadav discussed with Vikram Ahuja, Co-Founder of ANSR Global. In the meeting, consideration was given to setting up a new “GCC Hub” in Madhya Pradesh. Investment, land allocation, training facilities, GCC policy and incentive framework were discussed. Similarly, the directors of Vena India discussed the expansion of the already established GCC center in Indore.
Semiconductor and defense manufacturing will get encouragement
The Chief Minister discussed investment in the defense sector and setting up of defense clusters with Dr. Subbarao Pavuluri, Founder of Ananth Technologies Limited. Anil Gyanchand Bhansali, Director, Emerald Infraspace Limited discussed the proposal for PCB manufacturing unit at EMC-2, Bhopal. Dr. Srinivas Ananth, CEO of Thomson Semiconductors, expressed willingness to invest in projects like EV buses, truck manufacturing and packaging-testing units.
New opportunities in drones, robotics and film industry
Hanumant Rao Gaekwad, Chairman, BVG India Limited, shared plans to set up a drone and robotics cluster. This will include training, testing and research facilities. Syed Javed Ali of Light N Light Group proposed to set up a film equipment manufacturing unit. Film tourism policy, tax concessions and cooperation through single window system were discussed. Discussions were also held with representatives of Soaring Aerotech and Clinisupplies Limited on drone policy, startup policy and skill development cooperation.
Madhya Pradesh is becoming a favorite destination for investors
One-to-one discussions have further strengthened the confidence of investors in Madhya Pradesh. The state government is fully committed to providing favorable policies, transparent processes and strong infrastructure to the industries. Madhya Pradesh is now becoming an emerging technology and industrial hub of India.
