Sunny Deol Rages at Paparazzi Mob, ‘Aren’t You Ashamed’! Karan Johar and Madhur Bhandarkar Stand in Support

Veteran actor Dharmendra’s elder son, Sunny Deol, lost his cool after witnessing an excessive crowd of videographers and paparazzi outside his house following the actor’s recent illness and hospital discharge.

Now, directors Karan Johar and Madhur Bhandarkar have come out in support of Deol, expressing strong resentment against the paparazzi’s behavior and the continuous media attention surrounding the veteran actor.

Sunny’s Outburst: ‘Aren’t You Ashamed?’

Dharmendra is currently resting at home after being discharged from the hospital. However, the relentless crowd of paparazzi outside his residence infuriated Sunny Deol. Joining his hands, he addressed them, saying, “Aren’t you people ashamed? You have parents at your homes too. You have children. You should be ashamed.”

Karan Johar’s Explosive Comment: ‘A Ruined Nation’

Standing in solidarity with Sunny Deol, director Karan Johar shared a strong message on his Instagram story, voicing his outrage over the ‘media circus’ around the Deol family. He noted that the lack of basic ‘courtesy’ and ‘sensitivity’ during this emotional time for the family is painful to witness.

Karan further wrote, “When basic courtesy and sensitivity leave our hearts and our actions, we know we are a ruined nation. Please leave this family alone! They are already struggling emotionally. Seeing this paparazzi and media circus around a legend who has contributed so much to our cinema is heartbreaking. This is not coverage; this is showing disregard for that human being.”

Meanwhile, director Madhur Bhandarkar wrote, “It is high time for the paparazzi to respect the Deol family’s personal privacy. Let’s give them the truly needed peaceful space, especially during a difficult time.” The comments from the two Bollywood directors have sparked a new debate regarding the personal space of celebrities.
