Shardul Thakur Joins Mumbai Indians: A big trade has happened before IPL 2026 retention. Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur has been included in their team by Mumbai Indians for Rs 2 crore. On Thursday, MI franchise has also officially confirmed his inclusion in their team. There were news going on for the last 2 days that Shardul can be bought by Mumbaikars. Last season he was playing for Lucknow Super Giants. At the same time, the sword has hung on Arjun Tendulkar as soon as he came to the Indians in his place. According to reports, Arjun will be roped in by LSG. Their official update has not come yet.
Shardul Thakur traded in IPL for the third time

Only 1 half-century has come from his bat. His strike rate is 139.48. Whereas, if we look at bowling, he has taken 107 wickets in 102 innings of 105 matches at an economy of 9.40. His best bowling figures are 4-34. He has taken 5 wicket hauls in his name thrice.
Jadeja and Sanju Samson still not traded
The ongoing trading deal between Sanju Samson and Ravindra Jadeja has still not been made official. According to reports, Chennai Super Kings want to take Sanju and in return they will have to give Jadeja and Sam Curran. There are talks at many places that both the teams have finalized the deal. Now it remains to be seen when it is officially confirmed.
