Akhil Nigote Yadav and Aryan Deshmukh’s explosive knocks propel Malwa Stallions past 200-run mark against Rewa Jaguars

In the game between the Malwa Stallions and Rewa Jaguars, Akhil Nigote Yadav and Aryan Deshmukh played some sensational knocks to power the Stallions to 214. Akhil Yadav scored a fine knock of 66 off just 29 balls and he set the tone for the innings perfectly along with Parth Sahani.

After the dismissal of Akhil Yadav, there was a slight dip in the runs scored but the innings was well finished by Aryan Deshmukh. The young batter scored an explosive knock of 36 off just 10 balls and it was a very timely one. Considering the flow of runs in the middle overs, 214 would be a great total for the Malwa Stallions and it seems like a powerful total on board.

The Malwa Stallions weren’t off to the best of starts and it was the Rewa Jaguars who were in control of the game. Sagar Solanki was in great form as he conceded just 32 runs from his quota of 4 overs and he picked up 2 wickets as well. Ashwin Das finished off with a very expensive spell as he conceded 62 runs but much of the damage was done in the latter half of his spell, as Aryan Deshmukh smashed him for 4 sixes and 2 fours. Reya Jaguars would have felt that they leaked a bit too many runs at the death overs.

Malwa Stallions reach 214 despite middle-overs setback

In the first innings of the game, Saksham Purohit and Ansh Yadav were off to a decent start in the game and then it was carried on later by Akhil Nigote Yadav. His innings consisted of 3 fours and 7 sixes and that changed the complexion of the game on its head. From what looked like a game with not much chance of a high score, Akhil Yadav laid the foundation for a massive score to be put on board for the Malwa Stallions.

After a terrific partnership between Parth Sahani and Akhil Nigote Yadav, there was a huge dip in the flow of runs from the middle order. The next 5 wickets fell in a span of just 17 runs and the Rewa Jaguars were carrying out an absolute demolition job. Then came in Aryan Deshmukh, and he was determined to turn the game around for the Malwa Stallions. His innings consisted of 2 fours and 4 sixes, striking at 360 from just 10 balls. Aryan’s ability to contribute in the back-end of the innings helped the Stallions to cross the 200-run mark.

The Reya Jaguars would somewhat feel that they threw the game away in the last 15 balls of the innings as they couldn’t contain the heat of Aryan Deshmukh. The power-hitter did everything possible to get to a score that the bowlers could have something to bowl at. Malwa Stallions will be keen on defending the target and it wouldn’t be an easy task considering the batting form of the Reya Jaguars.
