IITF 2025: Uttar Pradesh will dominate the global stage on the basis of ODOP, startups and women entrepreneurship

Uttar Pradesh is participating as a partner state in the India International Trade Fair 2025. Under the ‘Local to Global’ strategy of the Yogi government, preparations are being made to give global recognition to ODOP, startups and women entrepreneurship.

Lucknow. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 is being organized from 14 to 27 November this year at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Based on the theme “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”, this fair will become a symbol of cultural, industrial and economic development of the country. This time Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan have been included as partner states.

Under the vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh will showcase its “Local to Global” strategy on this international platform, the aim of which is to make the state a hub of global trade and connect local products to the world market.

‘Local to Global’ strategy will get international platform

The Uttar Pradesh government will present its flagship programs – ‘One District One Product (ODOP), Startup Policy and Women Entrepreneurship Schemes – at the global level through this fair. Even before this, the International Trade Show 2025 held in Greater Noida was based on the theme “Local to Global”. This time the trade fair organized at Bharat Mandapam will prove to give further impetus to the business progress of the state.

Strong participation of Uttar Pradesh with 2,750 exhibitors

Uttar Pradesh is participating in this fair as a partner state, from where more than 2,750 exhibitors will be participating. Of these, 343 stalls will be under ODOP scheme.

Famous products of the state will be displayed on these stalls, such as-

  • carpet of bhadohi
  • Meerut Sports Goods
  • kanpur leather
  • Firozabad Glassware
  • Wooden Artifacts of Saharanpur

These stalls will not only showcase the craftsmanship and quality of Uttar Pradesh, but will also bring inspiring stories of local artisans to the global platform.

Emphasis on modern technology and sustainable packaging

The Uttar Pradesh pavilion will be equipped with modern packaging, digital marketing and sustainable practices. This will help in giving new identity to the state’s products in the markets of America, Europe, Middle East and South-East Asia. Many foreign delegations have shown keen interest in ODOP products during B-to-B (B2B) meetings, which will further boost the exports of the state.

Startups and women entrepreneurs will get global opportunities

In this fair, the Uttar Pradesh government has given special priority to young startups and women entrepreneurs. More than 150 startups and women entrepreneurs will showcase their innovations. These entrepreneurs are working on agricultural technology, herbal cosmetics, handloom and eco-friendly products. Trained under ‘Startup Policy 2020’ and ‘Women Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme’, these entrepreneurs are not only creating employment but also connecting the rural economy with the digital age. This participation of women entrepreneurs is a symbol of social change – who have emerged from villages and are now making their mark on the global stage. Special workshops and networking sessions will also be organized for them in the fair.

Yogi government’s policy is the result of 132% increase in exports

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “Local to Global” strategy has given new heights to the business of Uttar Pradesh. In the last eight years the state has achieved the export target of ₹2 lakh crore with a growth of 132%.

This success is the result of policies of ODOP, e-commerce platforms, and infrastructure improvements. Currently, there are more than 12,000 startups registered in Uttar Pradesh, of which more than 35% are run by women.

Uttar Pradesh towards new heights in global trade

‘Global Market Access Seminars’ for ODOP products will be organized during the trade fair. There will also be digital showrooms and agreements with foreign embassies and trade chambers, which will further promote the export of the state’s products.

International Trade Fair 2025 will become a platform for Uttar Pradesh where local products will become global brands and rural India will become a part of the global economy.
