Delhi Blast Update: Was the Delhi blast just a terrorist incident or the beginning of the ‘medical module’ spread in India? Doctor from Faridabad, student from Kanpur and Turkish handler ‘Ukasa’ – are they all part of the same network? NIA investigation is revealing new secrets every day…

New Delhi. It has been three days since the Red Fort blast in Delhi, but the layers of investigation are revealing a new shocking revelation every day. Now another name has been added to this investigation led by NIA (National Investigation Agency) – Mohammad Arif, a medical student from Kanpur, who has been detained on the charges of having links with suspect Dr. Shaheen Saeed.

Delhi blast that shook the capital – what happened that evening?

At around 6:52 pm on Monday evening, an explosion in a white Hyundai i20 car near the Red Fort in Delhi shocked the entire nation. The explosion was so powerful that nine people died on the spot and more than a dozen were injured. In the pictures obtained from the spot, the car was blown to pieces and there was chaos all around. Initial investigation revealed that the person driving the car was not a common man but a doctor – Dr. Omar Mohammad alias Dr. Omar Un Nabi.

Mysterious connection between Doctor Omar and Turkish handler ‘Ukasa’

According to sources, Dr. Umar was in constant touch with ‘Ukasa’, a Turkey-based handler. He communicated through the “Session App” – an app that is extremely difficult to track. In 2022, Omar and some of his companions also went to Ankara, Turkey, where it is said that they came in contact with a senior terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and were converted towards fundamentalist ideology.

Al-Falah University became the center of investigation

NIA has now asked for all the documents related to Dr. Omar and his associates Dr. Muzammil Shakeel and Dr. Shaheen Saeed from Al-Falah University, Faridabad. The investigation team has sought information from the university including land records, trust related documents, building plans, NOC, all letters received from UGC and NMC. It is believed that someone from within the university may have provided help to these suspects.

Was medical student Arif just a pawn or part of a larger conspiracy?

Arif, detained from Kanpur, is a cardiology student and was in touch with Dr Shaheen Saeed. Uttar Pradesh’s ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) has seized several electronic devices from his rented room in Ashok Nagar. Now the investigation is trying to find out whether Arif was also part of the same module which was preparing the women’s wing of the terrorist organization in India.

Where was Dr. Shaheen caught from?

Dr. Shaheen Saeed, a female doctor from Lucknow, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the recovery of a huge quantity of explosives in Faridabad. Delhi Police sources said that Saeed was secretly working to establish a women’s wing of Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in India.

What did Dr. Omar do in Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque before the blast?

The investigators are also looking into the purchase and sale of the i20 car used in the blast and its journey before the blast. Dr Omar Mohammed, who was driving the white Hyundai i20 car that exploded near the Red Fort on Monday evening, had gone to a mosque in Old Delhi before the blast. CCTV footage shows Omar going to the Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque near Delhi’s Turkman Gate.
