Uttar Pradesh MSME BOST: Uttar Pradesh government has implemented the new MSME Industrial Estate Management Policy in 2025, which will provide transparency in industrial plot allocation, convenience to investors and MSME sector will get great incentives.
Up new industry policy: Can Uttar Pradesh become the industrial hub of the country in the next few years? The new “micro, small and medium enterprise Industrial Asthan Management Policy” of the Yogi government is being considered a big step in this direction. Through this policy, a target has been set to bring the state’s economy to 1 trillion dollars by 2027.
Uttar Pradesh is already the largest in the country and the second largest state in the economy. But the government wants the scope of industrial development to spread in all four directions and investors should get facilities that live on international standards.

How will there be transparency in land allocation?
In the new policy, the allocation of industrial plots will be made by lease or rent auction and e-auction.
- The Commissioner and Director, Industry will have the right to decide the lease/rent period.
- The auction portal will also be selected under them.
- 20% of the total area can be used for commercial, service or residential activities.
What will be the prices of industrial plots?
Reserve price has been fixed in different parts of the state in this way:
- Madhyanchal: ₹ 2,500 per sqm
- Paschimanchal: ₹ 3,000 per sqm (20% more)
- Purvanchal and Bundelkhand: ₹ 2,000 per sqm (20% less)
Every year it will increase by 5% on 1 April.
What is flexibility in payment for investors?
Successful bidder in e-auction will have to pay 10% Ernest Money. Rest of the money:
- Lump sum
- In 1 year
- Or you can repay in 3 years.
There will also be a discount of 2% on immediate payment, while interest will have to be paid on delay.
Reservation and special provisions
In this policy, 10% plots/sheds will be reserved for SC-ST entrepreneurs. If eligible applicants are not found, this plot will be allocated to other sections.
What facilities will be available in industrial areas?
The government has planned to equip industrial areas with modern facilities, including:
- General facility center
- Electrical sub -station
- Fire fighting center
- Women’s Hostel, Dormitory, Crach
- Environment friendly park
- Training institutes and health services
