How many countries are supplying gold?
Ghana exports gold to many countries of the world. It mainly has four. United Arab Emirates, Switzerjand, South Africa and India. Apart from this, Ghana also exports gold to some other countries but in very limited quantity.China is still at the forefront in terms of gold production all over the world.
The Gold Council report says, China produces 380 tonnes of gold in a year. The second position is Russia, which produces 330 tonnes of gold. Australia with 284 tons is at number three, Canada is fourth with 202 tons and America with 158 tons. After this, Ghana comes, which produces about 140.6 tonnes of gold every year. This is followed by Mexico (140.3), Indonesia (140.1), Peru (136) and Uzbekistan (129).
