Committee will give full report after completion of investigation
The committee consists of Supreme Court Justice Arvind Kumar, Madras High Court Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava and senior advocate of Karnataka High Court BV Acharya. The committee will complete its investigation and report. Till then the process on impeachment motion will continue.

Judge was made in Delhi High Court in 2021
Yashwant Verma was appointed a judge of the Delhi High Court in October 2021 and he was in the post till April 2025. His government house was on fire in March 2025. The investigation found a large amount of burnt notes, after which the Supreme Court formed an in-house committee. In the report, this committee accused Justice Verma of hiding cash and violating judicial dignity. Justice Verma has been denying these allegations. He was sent back to the Allahabad High Court amidst controversies, where he was previously employed.
