Lucknow to Muzaffarpur Bus Service: Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has started direct interstate bus service between Lucknow to Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Now the passengers will not have the problem of changing the bus or traveling through different means. This bus, which departs from Alambagh bus terminal daily at 2 pm, will reach Muzaffarpur at 4 am the next day. This journey of 575 kilometers will be completed in 14 hours and the fare has been fixed ₹ 862.
Why Bus Service from Lucknow to Muzaffarpur in Bihar?
According to corporation officials, those traveling on this route did not have the facility of direct bus service earlier. Passengers either had to resort to the train or many times the bus had to change. With this new service, people will get the option of saving time as well as a comfortable and troublesome journey.

What will be the experience of root, stoppage, raya and travel?
The bus will depart from Alambagh bus terminal and reach Muzaffarpur via Awadh bus station, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Tamkuhi and Gopalganj. The same route will be followed in return journey. From Muzaffarpur, this bus will run daily at 2 pm and reach Lucknow at 4 am the next day.
The fare for general service is ₹ 862. Officials say that facilities have been provided keeping in mind the adequate seating system and long distance journey in the bus, which makes the passengers experience comfortable.
UPSRTC believes that after the success of this route, new direct bus services can also be introduced for other states. Currently, this direct bus from Lucknow to Muzaffarpur is a big relief for passengers and it is expected to increase traffic ease in the coming days.
