According to the police, the accused earned around Rs 30,000 from this fraud. The accused has been identified as Akshay Malviya, who is a resident of Lasudia area.

Earned thousands of rupees by selling fake papers

Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajesh Kumar Tripathi said that the accused used to charge Rs 50 to 100 for each paper. He sold these fake papers to about 22-25 people and thus earned Rs 25,000 to 30,000.

Who is Akshay who made fake NEET paper?

DCP Tripathi told ANI, “A person named Akshay Malviya, who is 12th pass and a first year law student, made fake NEET papers through ChatGPT. He sold these papers to about 22-23 people through Instagram, for which he took Rs 50 to 100 and earned about Rs 25-30 thousand. Since his work created confusion among the people and he made fake papers to earn money, That’s why a case has been registered against him.”

A case has been registered against the accused under Computer related crimes with intent to defraud. On the instructions of the Police Commissioner, the Crime Branch was continuously monitoring the social media and this action was taken on the basis of information received during this time. The official also clarified that this fake paper has nothing to do with the real exam paper of NEET held yesterday.
