Ranji Trophy 2025: Jammu and Kashmir has created history by defeating Delhi by 7 wickets in Ranji Trophy. This is the first time that Jammu and Kashmir has defeated Delhi in this prestigious domestic tournament of India. Aaqib Nabi has definitely become the player of the match in this victory of Jammu and Kashmir. But, apart from them, captain Paras Dogra, Kamran Iqbal and Sharma ji’s son have also spread their shine no less. Sharma ji’s son here means Jammu and Kashmir player Vanshraj Sharma.

Aaqib Nabi took 5 wickets in the first innings
In the match, Delhi batted first and scored 211 runs. Jammu and Kashmir bowler Aaqib Nabi played a big role in preventing Delhi from scoring big. He took 5 wickets for 35 runs in the first innings.
Captain took command, scored a century
In response to Delhi’s 211 runs, Jammu and Kashmir scored 310 runs in its first innings, in which the 106 runs scored by its captain Paras Dogra had a major contribution. In reply, Delhi did a little better in the second innings compared to the first innings but still could not cross the 300-run mark. Delhi team could score only 277 runs in the second innings.
Vanshaj Sharma dominated with the ball in the second innings
If Aqib Nabi dominated with the ball in the first innings against Delhi, Vanshaj Sharma was in terror in the second innings. He single-handedly uprooted 6 wickets of Delhi in the second innings. Before this, Vanshaj Sharma took a total of 8 wickets in the match including 2 wickets in the first innings.
