90 Day Tariff Relief to China: US President Donald Trump has extended the deadline for tariffs on China once again. On Monday, Trump signed an order in this regard, which gave 90 days exemption from additional tariffs on Chinese goods. The decision was taken a few hours before the deadline of the tariff dispute between China and America. The discount was to end on Tuesday, which has now been extended by the beginning of November.
Trump told Chinese President Xi Jinping special
Trump said on the occasion that his relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping is very good and China is currently behaving with “very good ways”. According to a Wall Street Journal and CNBC reports, Trump and Jinping also interacted on the phone on the issue. China has expressed the hope that the US will follow the consent during the talks.
Extended deadline for 90 days
Significantly, earlier this year, Trump had announced a heavy tariff on China, in response to which China also imposed tough tariffs on America. However, in May, there was an agreement between the two countries and a temporary reduction in tariffs was agreed. This exemption was given under the same agreement, whose deadline has now been extended by 90 days.
