Rewa Delhi flight: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated the Rewa to New Delhi flight service on Monday. Due to which the journey of 15 hours will now be completed in 2 hours. Air service will also increase connectivity with Bandhavgarh National Park, Panna National Park, Khajuraho and Amarkantak.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh has created a leading position in the entire country in the aviation sector. New doors for the development of Vindhya region are opening from today with the Rewa-Delhi-Rewa air service. Today, air services are being started in areas where there was no rail connectivity. Earlier it used to take about 15 hours to go from Rewa to Delhi, but now this distance can be easily covered in about 2 hours. The people of Vindhya will also be able to proudly say that now Delhi is not far. Vindhya region is the major industrial and religious center of the entire country. This area, rich in mineral wealth and industries, is also associated with the faith of Maa Sharda Dham Maihar and Chitrakoot. Air service will also increase connectivity with Bandhavgarh National Park, Panna National Park, Khajuraho and Amarkantak. This air service will prove to be a boon for mineral-industry activities, religious places and national parks. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration program of Rewa to New Delhi air service on Monday through video conferencing from the ministry. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Smt. Pratima Bagri and public representatives were present in the program organized in Rewa.
Remembrance of Bholenath of Devtalab and Lord Shri Ram of Chitrakoot.
In the inauguration of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while remembering Bholenath Swayambhu Mahamrityunjaya Shivji of Devtalab and Lord Shri Ram of Chitrakoot, said that Vindhya has got this gift by the grace of Mother Sharda Bhavani, it is a matter of pride for the entire Madhya Pradesh. He said that all the people of the state are grateful to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for giving a new flight to the progress of the state by connecting the historical and cultural region like Vindhya with the country’s capital Delhi. Prime Minister Shri Modi had inaugurated Rewa Airport only last year. Working at lightning speed, air service has started between Rewa-Delhi today for the convenience of the people of the area. The state government has also taken important steps towards connecting Rewa with the state’s financial capital Indore.
Expansion of helicopter service for medical and tourism continues in the state.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that despite the effective leadership of the public, there was a lack of rail facilities in the Vindhya region for a long time. It is well known that strong transportation is the backbone of the economy of any state. The Rewa-Delhi air service starting today is a strong step for the state in the same direction. Helicopter service is being expanded in the state for medical and tourism purposes. Innovative initiatives like PMShree Air Ambulance Service in the state have set a new example in emergency medical assistance. This service is a boon for the citizens living in remote areas.
Madhya Pradesh is making rapid progress in aviation sector
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is among those states of the country which are progressing rapidly in the aviation sector. The State Government is working committedly with a clear vision to provide one commercial airport every 150 km, one airstrip every 75 km and helipad every 45 km. In the last 2 years, 3 new airports Rewa, Satna and Datia were started. Before this, only 5 airports were developed in 68 years. Today there are 8 airports, 20 airstrips and 220 helipads in the state. Soon 2 new airports are going to be developed in Ujjain and Shivpuri. Madhya Pradesh Civil Aviation Policy-2025 has been implemented for the overall development of aviation sector in Madhya Pradesh.
Alliance Air will operate Rewa-Delhi airline
Rewa-Delhi air service is funded from VGF provisions under Madhya Pradesh Aviation Policy-2025. This air service will be operated by Alliance Air. Rewa Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the year 2024. It is now included in 3C-IFR category airports, which will also make night operations possible. On the occasion of State Foundation Day, the Aviation Department had handed over the letter of award to Alliance Air for operating the Rewa-Delhi air service. This new air service will not only save time but will also provide new impetus to the industrial, religious and economic development of the Vindhya region.
