It was started by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam itself. However, this tradition was changed in the year 1940. From the year 1940, instead of Bundi, laddu prasad was given to the devotees.
After this, in the year 1950, it was decided by TTD that in what quantity the things used in Prasad would be used. The last change in Dittam was made in the year 2001. This is applicable even today.
Secrets of Tirupati Balaji Temple
There are many secrets of this temple, which can surprise a person. It is said that the hair on Lord Venkateshwara is not fake. This hair always remains soft.
