BJP leader Sunil Sharma had said that after the 2014 elections, Omar Abdullah had contacted the BJP and challenged him to swear that there was no secret agreement with the BJP. After this, in 2024 he again went to Delhi and promised that if statehood is restored then he will form the government with BJP. But BJP opposed it. Sunil Sharma had challenged him yesterday that if it is not true, then go to the mosque and take an oath with the Holy Quran in hand. Omar Abdullah, who has been continuously attacking the Center in recent times, had also said that only his National Conference is fighting against the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir.
