How to make Onion Paratha
A video has been shared on a page named the_cooking_scoop on Instagram. In this video, the chef is telling how to use onion. Paratha Before making it, first chop the onion very finely. Now place the onion in a cloth and squeeze it well. By doing this the extra water will be removed. After this, a little dry flour is added to the onion stuffing. By doing this the extra water will be absorbed by the flour. Then after this, stuff the dough ball and roll the parathas. You will see that it will not tear anywhere and the flour will not get spoiled due to water.

Ingredients to make Onion Paratha
Wheat flour- 2 cups
Onion- 2 (finely chopped)
Green chilli- 1 (finely chopped)
Green Coriander – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
Cumin powder- ½ tsp
Dry mango powder- ¼ tsp
Garam masala- ¼ tsp salt- as per taste
Oil or ghee – for baking paratha

How to make Onion Paratha
- Take flour in a vessel, add some salt and 1 tsp oil.
- Knead a soft dough by adding water little by little and keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.
- Mix finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander, red chilli, dry mango powder, cumin powder, garam masala, a little flour and salt. Keep in mind that add salt at the end so that the onion does not release water.
- Make a ball of dough and roll it out and place onion stuffing in the middle. Close it from all sides and roll it gently.
- Heat the pan, add the paratha and cook lightly from both the sides. Now apply ghee or oil and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot onion paratha with curd, pickle or butter.
