New Delhi: Mohan Bhagwat said that people of all religions, including Muslims and Christians, can join the RSS, but they will have to leave aside religious discrimination and join as members of an organized Hindu society. He said that there is no entry for Brahmins or other castes in RSS, entry is only for Hindus. Mohan Bhagwat said this in a question-answer program organized by RSS.
As long as followers of all religions come as children of Mother India, they can become part of the RSS. Anyone including Muslim and Christian can join RSS. But to avoid differences in RSS, they will have to become part of an organized Hindu society as children of Bharat Mata. RSS does not ask the caste or religion of anyone joining the shakhas. If Christians, Hindus and Muslims come to the shakha, we will not ask them their religion. He said that they all are children of Mother India.
RSS does not support any political party. It supports policies as per national interest. RSS does not take part in vote politics and electoral politics. The goal of RSS is to unite the society. Mohan Bhagwat made it clear that politics divides the society and that is why RSS stays away from politics.
