Yogi Adityanath inspected Mahatma Buddha Agricultural University in Kushinagar, studies will start from July 2026

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the Mahatma Buddha Agriculture and Technology University under construction in Kushinagar. He gave instructions to complete the construction expeditiously so that studies can start from July 2026.

Kushinagar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inspected the under-construction Mahatma Buddha Agriculture and Technology University in Kushinagar. He reviewed the progress of the construction work by talking to the officials and officials of the executing agency. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the speed and quality of the work and directed that preparations should be made on war footing to start the teaching-learning work from the July 2026 session.

Instructions to complete building construction before October 2026

During the inspection, the Chief Minister visited the university campus and learned the latest status of construction. He told the executing agency that the construction of the building should be completed before the targeted time (October 2026) so that the admission process can be completed by July 2026 and classes can be started in August-September 2026.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this university being built in Kushinagar in the name of Mahatma Buddha will be a big achievement for Eastern Uttar Pradesh. He said that this institute will create new opportunities in the field of agriculture, technology and research and open new avenues of employment for farmers and youth.

University will become a milestone in agricultural prosperity and welfare of farmers

CM Yogi said that Kushinagar and the surrounding area are very rich from the agricultural point of view. The land here is fertile and adequate water resources are available. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the region has got better connectivity and development direction. In such a situation, this university will play an important role in the prosperity of Annadata farmers, horticultural crops and sugarcane growers.
